How To Train Your Dragon 2 Score Review

Check it out... if the gorgeous instrumentation, momentous scope, irresistible thematic material and emotional presence that the prior installment into the franchise sported made for one hell of listening experience for you, because all those factors are back for the sequel, as well as more.

Skip it... if you've never had any fascination in either the previous score, or either of the films; though newcomers to the series should still undoubtedly adore this effort.

The Fault In Our Stars (2014) Film Review

Check it out... if you're a fan of witty, tragic romance tales, that will no doubt jerk a tear from your eye at one point or another.

Skip it... if you want to find the realism and inventiveness that a film like (500) Days of Summer brought to the table, where cliches are almost non-existent, and the film screams reality.

Game of Thrones: Season 4 Score Review

Check it out... if the previous scores in the series impressed you with their emphasis on thematic material, impressive scope, and range of instrumentation.

Skip it... if you crave a medieval-epic kind of score, with a great amount of strong, involved action music, for that is what Djawadi has avoided with this and all three prior scores.

Game of Thrones: Season 4, Episode 10 "The Children" Review

Positives this week included... Mance and Jon's conversation, Stannis arriving North, Jon's burning of Ygritte's body, Daenerys' slightly emotional dragon scene, Bran arriving at the Three Eyed Raven's crib, Cersei breaking ties with Tywin, Tyrion dealing out revenge to Tywin and Shae, Brienne Vs. The Hound, Arya sailing off to Braavos

Negatives this week included...  Cersei and Jaime's twincest scene (Why?!)

The Vikings: Season 2 Score Review

Check it out... if you're looking for a brutal, unforgiving, and often harsh Viking score, which seems to reflect the Scandinavian influence fairly well.

Skip it... if you're looking for a thoroughly enjoyable album, with accessible and fun thematic material, battle cues, and emotional prowess, for Morris provides little to naught to any of that.

Edge of Tomorrow (2014) Film Review

Check it out... if a Tom Cruise-driven action film still excites you, for this is one of his finest performances and films.

Skip it... if the originality, intelligence, and hilarity that this film provides don't provoke your curiosity in the slightest.

Game of Thrones: Season 4, Episode 9 "The Watchers on the Wall" Review

Positives this week included... Everything Night's Watch related (for obvious reasons)

Negatives this week included...  Absolutely nothing!

Edge of Tomorrow Score Review

Check it out... if a combination of Hans Zimmer's terrible Black Hawk Down, Johan Skugge and Jukka Rintamaki's atrocious Battlefield 3, and Henry Jackman's piss poor Captain America: The Winter Soldier sounds like a promising premise!

Skip it... if droning, simplistic, repetitive, and uninspired "music" sounds like something you'd rather avoid.

Game of Thrones: Season 4, Episode 8 "The Mountain and The Viper" Review

Positives this week included... Oberyn and The Mountain's fight, Tyrion's somewhat random story, Daenerys' dismissal of Jorah, Grey Worm and Missandei flirting, Arya's laughing fit, Sansa taking control of her situation, Theon winning Moat Cailin, Ramsay getting promoted to "Bolton"

Negatives this week included...  Absolutely nothing!
